Quick Start Guide: Your First AI-Generated Post

Welcome to BlogFlux!

This guide will walk you through creating your first AI-generated blog post in just a few minutes.

Step 1: Sign Up and Start Your Trial

If you haven't already, create your BlogFlux account. All plans include a 14-day free trial - no credit card required!

Step 2: Complete Onboarding

After signing up, you'll be guided through a brief onboarding process where you'll:

• Tell us about your content goals
• Choose your preferred AI model
• Optionally connect a WordPress site

You can skip any step and return to it later.

Step 3: Generate Your First Post

1. Navigate to Content Generation in the sidebar
2. Enter a topic (e.g., "Benefits of AI in Content Marketing")
3. Add 2-3 keywords, comma-separated (e.g., "AI, content marketing, automation")
4. Select an AI model:
   • GPT-5 Mini ⭐ - Recommended for most blog posts, versatile and SEO-friendly
   • Claude Sonnet 4.5 - Best for complex reasoning and sophisticated content
   • Claude Haiku 4.5 - Fast and intelligent for quick posts
   • GPT-5 - Best for technical articles and in-depth analysis
   • Claude Opus 4.1 - Most powerful for long-form content
   • GPT-5 Nano - Perfect for quick posts and listicles
5. Set target word count (default 2,000, range 500-5,000)
6. Choose how many images to generate (depends on your plan)
7. Click Generate Content

Step 4: Review and Edit

Generation typically takes 2-3 minutes. You'll see real-time progress updates showing:

• Checking for duplicate content
• Generating main content
• Optimizing for SEO
• Creating images

Once complete, review the generated post. You can:

• Edit the title, content, or meta description
• Replace images
• Adjust keywords
• Regenerate if you're not satisfied

Step 5: Publish

When you're happy with the post, you have several options:

• Publish to WordPress: If you've connected a WordPress site, click "Publish" to send it directly to your blog
• Schedule for later: Choose a date and time for automatic publishing
• Copy content: Copy the HTML and paste it into your CMS manually
• Use webhook: Send to a custom endpoint for integration with other platforms

Tips for Success

• Be specific with topics: "10 Ways AI Improves Email Marketing ROI" is better than "AI in marketing"
• Use relevant keywords: Include 2-4 comma-separated keywords that match your target audience's search intent
• Add custom instructions: Guide the AI with instructions like "Write in a conversational tone" or "Include statistics and data"
• Start with GPT-5 Mini: It's the recommended model, offering the best balance of quality, speed, and SEO optimization
• Add a CTA: Use the optional Call to Action fields to add a compelling CTA at the end of your post
