Understanding Monthly Post Limits

How Monthly Limits Work

Every BlogFlux plan has a monthly post limit. Here's what you need to know.

📊 Plans and Limits

⭐ About the 14-Day Trial

All plans include a 14-day free trial with the full limits of that plan. There is NO separate "trial plan" with reduced limits.

Plan Monthly Posts Monthly Images Price
Starter 15 posts 30 images $29/month or $278/year
Pro ⭐ 65 posts 325 images $79/month or $758/year
Enterprise 250 posts 1500 images $199/month or $1,910/year

💰 Annual billing saves 20% (~2 months free!)

What Counts as a Post?

These actions count toward your monthly limit:

  • ✅ Successfully generated posts
  • ✅ Posts published to WordPress
  • ✅ Saved drafts (after generation completes)

These DO NOT count:

  • ❌ Failed generations
  • ❌ Regenerating the same post
  • ❌ Editing existing posts
  • ❌ Deleting posts

📅 Billing Cycle vs Calendar Month

Important: Your limits reset based on your billing cycle, NOT the calendar month.

Example:

  • If you subscribed on Jan 15th
  • Your billing cycle is: Jan 15 - Feb 14
  • Limits reset on Feb 15th (not Feb 1st)

💡 What Happens When You Hit the Limit?

  1. You'll see a notification when you reach 80% of your limit
  2. At 100%, you can't generate new posts
  3. You can still edit and manage existing posts
  4. Upgrade your plan for immediate access to more posts

🚀 Upgrading Mid-Cycle

If you upgrade during your billing cycle:

  • Your new limits apply immediately
  • You're charged a prorated amount
  • Next billing date remains the same

📊 Tracking Your Usage

View your current usage in real-time:

  1. Go to Dashboard
  2. Check the "Usage" widget
  3. See posts used and remaining
